The Textbooks feature allows users to manage a list of textbooks available for sale and used in courses. It includes details such as textbook vendors, inventory tracking, and pricing information.

Field Details
- Textbook: Name of the textbook. The field cannot be duplicated in more than one record. Required field.
- Vendor: The textbook vendor, selected from the user-defined list of Companies.

- The Inventory tab is available only when viewing the Textbooks record.

The Inventory section provides a reference for tracking textbook stock through purchases and sales.
Accessing Inventory
- Navigate to Textbooks.
- Select the Inventory tab.
Inventory Fields
- Date: The date of the inventory transaction. Required field.

Transaction: The type of transaction. Required field.
- Examples: Opening Balance, Order, Return
- Quantity: Number of books involved in this transaction.
- Purchase Price: If the transaction is an Order, this field records the purchase price per book.
- Selling Price: If the transaction is an Order, this field records the selling price per book.
- Sales Tax: The amount of sales tax per book, if applicable.
- Date Received: The date the order was received.
