Merge Letters / Merge Forms

This report uses the Merge Text templates to merge with Client data in a letter or form format.

  • See Marketing Reports for creating templates.
  • Only merge templates where Population = Clients/Family will appear in the template list.
  • Enforce Permitted Marketing Method:  Select the option from the list to restrict the search results to only those clients that have given permission to use the method selected.  Leaving this field blank does not restrict records based on the Permitted Marketing Methods field in the client’s record.

  • Display Course Info: If the No option is selected, the report can include client's without assignments unless another search field is used that filters course, section or related data.  This report filtering results only affects the Merge Letter report.
  • Include Workshops:
    • This option only displays for Enterprise and Conference versions and only functions when the Course is a Conference.
  • None = No client assigned workshops will display in report results.
  • Same Page = Client assigned workshops will display in a list format on the same page as the conference.
  • Separate Pages = Each client assigned workshop will display on a separate report page from the conference.
  • Exclude Option:  Allows user to exclude Courses and/or Course Sections.
  • Logo: If a logo file has been uploaded, the logo will display in the page header section of the report, except the "Parking Permit" template.

Enrollment Status values are defined as follows:

  • All = status is ignored but assignment must exist
  • Active Only = status starts with the letter “E”
  • Inactive Only = status starts with the letter “C” or “Did Not Complete”  (Inactive assumes was active at one time)
  • Active and Inactive Only = status starts with the letter “E”, letter “C” or “Did Not Complete”  (Inactive assumes was active at one time)
  • Other values must be an exact wording match
