Staff Email
Allows for email to Staff based on numerous filtering options using Email Templates.
Applies To: Enterprise Plus Basic
- Email Templates are required. Only email templates where Population = Staff will appear in the template list.
- The use of Embed Codes to integrate data into emails is supported.
- Preview Report displays the Staff that will and will not receive the email based on the search parameters selected.
- When sent, an automatic Staff Note record is recorded with the merge mail template name in the Notes field.

Search parameter tips:
- Return Email: To use an alternate return rather than the Branch default.
- All search fields except Staff will search based on the course section linked to the Staff where the Instructor field matches the Staff.
- Prevent Duplicates: If yes, only one email per Staff will be sent regardless if the search results would return more than one record per Staff.

To send an email to one Staff without any client assignment data:

Search Criteria:
- Staff = select one
- Do not set any other search field

Report Options:
- Merge Text = select one
- Display Course Info = No
- Prevent Duplicates = Yes
- System Users = No

To send an email to System Users:

Step 1 (This step only needs to be performed once per system user)
- Add a Staff record for the System User (Main menu >> Selects >> Staff) with a valid email address.
- Link the System User to the Staff record (Admin Menu >> Settings >> Users) via the Staff Link field.

Search Criteria:
- Staff = select one or leave blank to send to all system users

Report Options:
- Merge Text = select a merge template
- System Users = Yes
- All other search criteria and report options are ignored
