Company Email

Allows for email to Company based on numerous filtering options and Merge Text.

Applies To:    Enterprise    Plus    Basic

  • Email Templates are required. Only email templates where Population = Company will appear in the template list.
  • The use of Embed Codes to integrate data into emails is supported.
  • Preview Report displays the Companies that will and will not receive the email based on the search parameters selected.
  • Company Link To:  This report option allows the user to determine at what location the Company link should be evaluated when running the company email function.
    • Assignment: Only uses companies that are linked to Client Assignments.
    • Client: Only uses companies that are linked to Clients via the Company field in the address section.
    • Invoice: Only uses companies that are linked to Client Invoices.
    • None: All linkages are ignored and uses the Company table only.  Any search fields and template Embed Codes related to clients and courses are ignored when using this option.
  • Search parameter tips:
    • Display Course Info = Yes:  To send an email with client assignment data.
    • Return Email:  To use an alternate return rather than the Branch default.
    • All search fields except Company will search based on the course section assignments linked to the Clients where the Client Company field matches the Company.
    • Client Type:  To filter either Individual Clients or Corporate Clients.
    • Prevent Duplicates: If yes, only one email per Company will be sent regardless if the search results would return more than one record per Company.
    • To send a generic email to one Company without any client assignment data, set as follows:
      • Company Link To = None
      • Prevent Duplicates = Yes
