The Ethnicity feature in Client Demographics allows organizations to categorize and track client ethnicity data for reporting purposes. In a multi-branch setup, ethnicity values remain consistent across all branches—any modifications apply to all branches system-wide.

Field Details
- Ethnicity Name – The name of the ethnicity category. This is a user-defined field and cannot be duplicated. (Required field)
-
Default – Every user-defined ethnicity must have a default value. Available defaults include:
- Other
- User Defined
If reporting requires a distinction between predefined and custom values, set all defaults to User Defined. When generating demographic reports, reference user-defined fields rather than the default system values. (Required field)
- Ethnic Code 1 & 2 – Custom codes for reporting purposes. These fields are optional but can be useful for internal tracking.
Key Notes
- Ethnicity values are shared across all branches in a multi-branch environment.
- Modifying an ethnicity value in one branch affects all branches.
- If reporting requires separation of predefined and user-defined ethnicity values, ensure all defaults are set to User Defined instead of Other.
