Blocks

Allows users to block certain Client functions from access until the block is released.

Navigation:

Main Menu > Clients > Blocks

Applies To:    Enterprise    Plus   Basic

Important Notes

When a Client has one or more block records that are not released (Released = No), certain functions are disabled and are not enabled until all blocks are released (Released = Yes).

  • The header row of the Client record will display "ACTIVE BLOCK" when a Client has one or more blocks not released.
  • An Unblock Form report button displays in the header area when a Client has an active block.
  • The Client can login into the WebReg module MyAccount section and can view courses but cannot purchase courses.  The Client receives a prompt informing them their account is locked and to contact the office for information.  Most MyAccount options in the WebReg module remain disabled until the Block is released.
  • In a multi-Branch and Client shared environment, the number of Active Blocks for the currently viewed Client will display for other Branches.  However, the user cannot view or edit the Block from the current Branch login.
  • Users cannot add records in the following areas:
    • Client Application
    • Client Assignment
    • Client Placement

Email Client Block
This function will send an email of the status of the selected Client Block to the client.

Two different email templates need to exist to use this function.  The email function analyzes the status of the block and selects the appropriate template.
  • Email Block Set:  Used when the status is Released = No
  • Email Block Release:  Used when the status is Released = Yes

The Send From email is optional if the email address recorded with the email template is the correct email address to use as the from address.
