User Log

Prints the login and logout records from the System User Log.

  • Only Admin module logins and logouts occurring after 5/2/11 6:30 AM EST will be recorded.
  • As of 8/11/16, WebReg and QuickTools modules also log successful and attempted logins and logouts.
  • All logins and logouts are recorded automatically including failed login attempts and session timeouts.
  • IP Address is provided for reference purposes.  For failed logins caused by attempts to access XenDirect without approval, the IP Address could be used to add to the IP block list.
  • Failed Reason: Reason for login failure. 
    • Admin User will see reason on login screen when failure is due to time, day, or date but not for other failure reasons for security purposes.  (Note that the failure reason first started to record about 5/21/11 4:00 PM EST)
    • WebReg and QuickTools users will see limited failure information for security reasons.
  • Method Search Option: 
    • Manual = When a system user utilized the login or the logout option.
    • Auto = When a system user does not use the logout option to exit XenDirect and the system session times out.  Examples of how an automatic logout can occur:
      • User closes the browser without using logout option.
      • User is inactive longer than the system timeout setting.
      • Computer issue such as a crash or system freeze making ability to logout not possible.
  • Module: Displays Admin, WebReg or QuickTools.
  • Browser: Displays CGI browser information of computer performing login/logout. (Note that the browser first started to record about 8/11/16 6:00 AM EST)
