Overview

This feature controls various options throughout all XenDirect modules. Access to these settings is only in Release 3. This new feature added September 2020 is currently being used to add new settings. However, over the next year many of the existing settings in other locations, such as the Branch profile, will be moved to this area. This new feature has numerous advantages including making it easier to find and change settings in one searchable location.

  • Check Number Required:
    • Location: Admin module
    • Version: All versions
    • Purpose: This setting makes the Check Number field of a payment transaction required when the payment type = Check. This setting is not yet enabled.
  • Default Search:
    • Location: WebReg module
    • Version: All versions
    • Purpose: This setting allows customers to set the default search page when a client first arrives to the WebReg module.
  • Enable 2020 Questions:
    • Location: WebReg module
    • Version: Enterprise and Plus
    • Purpose: This setting allows customers to enable the new Custom Questions format in the WebReg module. Contact support before changing this setting to Yes.
  • Enable Email Admin:
    • Location: Admin Module
    • Version: All versions
    • Purpose: This setting allows for a customer to disable the entire email feature within the Admin module. This setting only affects Release 3.
  • Enable SendGrid:
    • Location: Admin, WebReg, and QuickTools modules
    • Version: All versions
    • Purpose: This setting allows customers to change the email feature over to the new SendGrid process. Contact support before changing this setting to Yes.
