Attendance Codes

The Attendance Codes feature is used to track daily client attendance records, such as whether a client was absent, attended, or if class was not held. These codes ensure accurate reporting and consistency in attendance tracking.

Field Details

  • Type:

    • Identifies the attendance status for reporting consistency.
    • All attendance codes should be categorized as:
      • Attended
      • Absent
      • No School (Class not held - ignored in attendance reports)
    • Required field, not user-defined.
  • Credit:

    • Number of credits assigned for attendance using this code.
    • Must be between 0 and 1.
    • Required field.
  • Display in Admin:

    • Unchecked → Attendance Code will not appear in the Admin Module.
  • Display in QuickTools:

    • Unchecked → Attendance Code will not appear in the QuickTools Module.
  • Permission Groups:

    • Select which Permission Groups can use the Attendance Code.
    • Users not assigned to the selected groups will not see the code in the dropdown list when managing attendance.

Important Notes

  • Attendance Codes cannot be deleted or added. However, users can change display settings to show only the desired codes.
  • Changes to Attendance Code settings apply to all existing data.
  • The XX Attendance Code is used in QuickTools to indicate when a student has dropped or is no longer attending a course assignment.
