Manage CTEDS

There are two functions that assist with the data management of the NYSED Secondary CTEDS-2 report.

Important:

  • The NYSED CTEDS reports are no longer updated based on NYSED's requirement that reporting organizations use the ASISTS software to report CTEDS.  The CTEDS reports still remain available in XenDirect but are based on the last update made prior to the ASISTS requirement in 2005 and are provided for historical reference only.  Support for these reports is limited to assuring the reports will run "as is" without error.

Tools > Client Functions > Tag CTEDS

Applies To:    Enterprise

Details

  • This function automatically tags Client Assignments as CTEDS = Yes where the Course Schedule is tagged CTEDS = Yes and the Course CIP Code field is not blank
  • Multiple CTEDS AssignmentsThis function checks to see if a Client has at least one CTEDS Assignment and will not tag another Assignment as CTEDS.  However, a client with several Assignments, all of which are not tagged as CTEDS, could result in duplicate CTEDS Assignments.  Because XenDirect does not know which Assignment should be tagged, all Assignments are tagged if the Course is a CTEDS course.   When submitting a CTEDS report, a Client should have only one Assignment tagged as CTEDS = Yes.  To check for multiple CTEDS Assignments, run the InSight Duplicate Enrollments report.
