Setting Up A Corporate Client

Overview

Many times an organization desires to set up a corporate or contract Client and add bulk or quantity registrations without registrant names attached to the Assignment.  Use these steps to set up that Corporate Client record.  If you only desire to add a company as a third-party billing for a client, follow the process outlined in Adding Billing Payment to a Course Registration.


Setting Up a Corporate Client

  • Go to Main Menu »» Clients »» Client Info and select New from the blue toolbar.
  • Add all normal Client fields as you would a regular client.  Use the company name as desired in the first and last name.  These are required fields.
  • On the final Other Section/Other Tab, change the Client Type to Corporate.
  • Save the client record.
  • When adding a Client Registration for this client, a Quantity field will appear in the Assignment screen.  Enter the number of registrations purchased by this company.  Note that student names can not be recorded when using this method.  To record names, you must enter the Clients and Assignments as usual.
  • When billing a corporate client, follow the same procedures as a regular client.
