Client Records and Branches
- Each Client has a single profile record linked to a Branch.
- In a multi-Branch system, the Client record can be shared across multiple Branches, but there is still only one Client record, not separate records per Branch.
- Any changes to a Client’s profile will reflect across all Branches where the Client is shared.
Related Records Under a Client Profile
A Client profile can have multiple related records stored in different subtables.
Subtables Linked to a Client Record
- Assignments
- Invoices
- Payments
- Other transaction records
Each of these subtables:
- Can have multiple records linked to a single Client.
- Are unique to each Branch and are not shared across multiple Branches.
Exception: Intake/Exit Table
- This table is unique per Branch, meaning a Client can have a different Intake/Exit record for each Branch.
- Unlike other subtables, each Client can only have one Intake/Exit record per Branch.
Client Types: Individual vs. Corporate
Clients can be classified as either Individual or Corporate.
- Individual Clients: Standard clients who register for services personally.
- Corporate Clients: Clients associated with a company or business rather than an individual.
Conclusion
The Client record system in XenDirect is structured to maintain a single profile per Client while allowing for multi-Branch functionality and related subtable records. Understanding this structure ensures efficient data management and accurate client tracking. For further assistance, refer to related articles or contact support.
