Overview

Note: As of 8/1/16, Ed2Go and Ed2Go CTP courses are managed from the same menu option using the new Ed2Go API process.

For customers who possess an active Ed2Go re-seller account, the XenDirect Ed2Go integration makes the task of managing the courses and registrations much easier. The XenDirect Ed2Go integration performs these functions:

Automatically downloads the current courses and sections from Ed2Go into XenDirect.
Provides an easy function to transfer Ed2Go offerings into your site’s offerings.
Allows existing offerings to be tagged as Ed2Go course sections.
Electronically sends registration information from XenDirect to Ed2Go .
Sends an email regarding Ed2Go login and registration to the registered client.

There are two types of Ed2Go course:

ILC: Instructor Led Course. These are the regular online courses.
CTP: Career Training Program. These are the career based courses.

Ed2Go Set Up Checklist

Use this quick checklist to determine if all the required settings to enable Ed2Go are complete.

[ ] Have login credentials and URL settings been entered into the Vendor table for both Ed2Go and Ed2Go CTP?

[ ] Are courses tagged as Vendor = Ed2Go or Ed2GoCTP?

[ ] Do Ed2Go Course offerings have the Ed2Go Course ID in the Course Alt Course Code field?

[ ] Do Ed2Go Section offerings have the Ed2Go Section ID in the Course Alt Section ID field? (Not needed for Ed2Go CTP course sections)

[ ] Is there a Merge Text Email template set up called "Ed2Go Confirmation" and for "Ed2Go CTP Confirmation"?
