Overview
For customers who possess an active Ed2Go re-seller account, the XenDirect Ed2Go integration makes the task of managing the courses and registrations much easier. The XenDirect Ed2Go integration performs these functions:
- Automatically downloads the current courses and sections from Ed2Go into XenDirect.
- Provides an easy function to transfer Ed2Go offerings into your site’s offerings.
- Allows existing offerings to be tagged as Ed2Go course sections.
- Electronically sends registration information from XenDirect to Ed2Go .
- Sends an email regarding Ed2Go login and registration to the registered client.
Note: As of 11/6/2025, the categorization of Ed2Go courses has been modified to match Ed2Go's branding changes made in 2025.
There are three types of Ed2Go courses:

Ed2Go FUN: Fundamental courses
- IMC: Instructor Moderated Course. These are the regular online courses. (prev. ILC)
- SGC: Self-Guided Course. These are the regular online courses. (prev. SPT)
- Ed2Go ACT: Advanced Career Training. These are the career based courses. (prev. CTP)

Ed2Go Set Up Checklist
Use this quick checklist to determine if all the required settings to enable Ed2Go are complete.
[ ] Have login credentials and URL settings been entered into the Vendor table for both Ed2Go FUN and Ed2Go ACT?
[ ] Are courses tagged as Vendor = Ed2Go FUN or Ed2Go ACT?
[ ] Do Ed2Go Course offerings have the Ed2Go Course ID in the Course Alt Course Code field?
[ ] Do Ed2Go Section offerings have the Ed2Go Section ID in the Course Alt Section ID field? (Not needed for Ed2Go ACT course sections)
[ ] Is there a Merge Text Email template set up called "Ed2Go FUN Confirmation" and for "Ed2Go ACT Confirmation"?
