Set Up Salesforce Login

Once Xenegrade has activated your Salesforce feature, follow these steps to activate the Salesforce features for a user. 

Steps To Do In Salesforce

  • Log into Salesforce as an administrator user.
  • Go to Setup.
  • From left menu navigation, go to Administration Setup »» Security Controls »» Network Access.
  • Add an IP range to allow for XenDirect access.  Contact Xenegrade for the correct IP range to submit.
  • This completes the Salesforce set up process.  This step only needs to be performed one time.

Steps To Do In XenDirect

  • Go to Admin Menu »» Settings »» Users.
  • Edit the User record desired.
  • Add the Salesforce User Name and Salesforce Password in the fields provided.  Enter the values exactly as you would to login into the Salesforce.com site including proper use of upper and lower case letters.
  • Save the user record.
  • Salesforce integration is now activated.
