Certificates

Print completion, honors, and awards certificates by merging user defined text templates with predefined formats. 

  • There are two formats for merging with certificates:  Basic and Advanced.
  • There are no restrictions on the number of user defined templates.

Certificates (Basic)

This format uses up to three lines of the Certificate text templates and has a border option allowing a user to print using certificate paper with a printed border or blank paper.

  • Organization Name and Branch Name: Both display at the top of the certificate.  If the Branch has both a Branch Name and Branch Name Long value, the Branch Name Long is used.  In both cases, if the Branch Name and Organization Name are the same, the Branch Name is omitted from the report.
  • Certificate Name: Select from Certificate Text list.
  • Date Text:  The date that will appear on Certificate.  Can be written in short form as 7/14/2015 or long form such as July 14, 2015.
  • Signatures:  Select up to three signature lines with titles from user defined Job Titles select list.
  • Display Options:  If any of the following display options are enabled, they will appear centered on the page, below the primary certificate text, and above the signature lines.
    • Border: Display an optional thin multi-line border.
    • Course Grade:  Display the Grade field from the Client Assignment.
    • Exam Grade:  Display the Exam Grade field from the Client Assignment.
    • Credit:
      • Credit:  Display the Credit Earned and Credit Type fields from the Client Assignment.  If Credit Type is blank, the word "Credit" displays instead.
      • Pass/Fail:  Display a text version of the Pass/Fail field from the Client Assignment.
    • Attendance and Attendance Percent:  These two options work in tandem as follows.
      • Attendance Percent = No:  Only the days or hours display
        • Attendance = Day 1:  Display the Number of Classes field from the Course Section.
        • Attendance = Day 2:  Display the Days Attended field from the Client Assignment.
        • Attendance = Day 3:  Display the aggregate Attended Days from Client Attendance. (Enterprise only)
        • Attendance = Hours 1:  Display the Total Hours field from the Course Section.
        • Attendance = Hours 2:  Display the Hours Attended field from Client Assignment.
        • Attendance = Hours 3:  Display the aggregate Attended Hours from Client Attendance. (Enterprise only)
      • Attendance Percent = Yes:  The days or hours display along with the course total hours and percentage attended.  Display is in text form:
        • Sample display:  92 of 100 Hours / 92% Attendance
        • Attendance = Day 1:  Same as above.
        • Attendance = Day 2:  Days Attended field from the Client Assignment divided by Number of Classes field from the Course Section.
        • Attendance = Day 3:  Aggregate Attended Days from Client Attendance divided by Number of Classes field from the Course Section.  (Enterprise only)
        • Attendance = Hours 1:  Same as above.
        • Attendance = Hours 2:  Hours Attended field from the Client Assignment divided by Total Hours field from the Course Section.
        • Attendance = Hours 3:  Aggregate Attended Hours from Client Attendance divided by Total Hours field from the Course Section.  (Enterprise only)
  • Enrollment Status search values are defined as follows:
    • All = status is ignored but assignment must exist
    • Active Only = status starts with the letter “E”
    • Inactive Only = status starts with the letter “C” or “Did Not Complete”  (Inactive assumes was active at one time)
    • Active and Inactive Only = status starts with the letter “E”, letter “C” or “Did Not Complete”  (Inactive assumes was active at one time)
    • Other values must be an exact wording match

Certificates (Advanced)

This format uses up to five lines of the Certificate text template and allows a user to print using pre-bordered certificate paper or blank paper.  However, there is no print border option on this format.

  • Certificate Name: Select from Certificate Text list.
  • Sort Order:  Select order of records.
    • Client:  In order by client name, then course code.
    • Course Code:  In order by course code, then client name.
  • Date Text:  The date that will appear on Certificate.  If entered, will display to the left below the left signature line.  Can be written in short form as 7/14/2015 or long form such as July 14, 2015.
  • Display Logo:  Select Yes to display graphic logo on certificate.  Logo will display centered at the top of the page.
    • Uses the logo graphic as uploaded under the Branch Profile.
    • The uploaded graphic must be a .JPG proportioned to fit a size of 2.5" width and .85" height.
  • Signatures:  Select up to two Staff signature lines with titles, names, and optional digital signatures.  A minimum of one is required.  If only one is used, it will display to the right side of the certificate page.
    • If a Job Title is linked to the Staff record, the Job Title will display under the Staff name.
    • If a digital signature is uploaded to the Staff record, it will display above the Staff Name and Job Title.  Digital Signature graphics must be proportioned to fit a 3.25" wide by .75" height display format.
  • Display Credit:  If enabled, the option will display to the left below the left signature line and date.
    • Credit:  Display the Credit Earned and Credit Type fields from the Client Assignment.  If Credit Type is blank, the word "Credit" displays instead.
    • Pass/Fail:  Display the Pass/Fail field value from the Client Assignment.
