Create SMS Text Templates

You must create SMS Text message templates to be able to send SMS Text messages.

Navigation:   

Release 3: Tools > Marketing Functions > Create SMS Templates
Release 2: Report Menu > Marketing > Templates SMS

Create SMS Templates

Use this feature to create SMS text templates.

Release 3

• Go to Tools > Marketing Functions > Create SMS Temp.
• Click [New SMS Template].
• Enter the required data.
  • SMS Text Name: Unique title of SMS Text template.  The name is not sent with the message.  Required field. There are no reserved template names at this time.
  • Message Body:  A maximum of 120 characters that will be sent as the text message.  Use smart abbreviations where possible to create a more in-depth message when message length is a concern.
  • Target:  Select if the template is targeted to Clients or Staff. The send process filters the template list based on the population.
    
• Click [Create] to save or [Cancel] to close without saving.

Release 2

• Go to Report Menu > Marketing > Templates SMS.
• Click [New].
• Enter the required data.

• Click [OK] to save or [Cancel] to close without saving.
