Xenegrade is preparing the phased migration schedule for WebReg 3.0. Because each customer’s setup, timing needs, and registration activity may be different, migrations will be scheduled in controlled groups rather than completed all at once. This approach allows our team to complete the necessary setup, coordinate customer review, manage support carefully, and monitor each launch after it goes live.
Once the migration process begins, we expect to move approximately 5–10 customers per week, with a limited number of customers migrating before September 1 and most migrations occurring after mid-September.
The Migration Process
- July-August 2026: Xenegrade will contact all sites to set and confirm the date the migration will commence for your organization. You will have some ability to schedule the migration start on a specific date.
- August-November 2026: On a weekly basis, migrations will occur for a limited set of customers. Migrations will typically occur on a Tuesday.
- August 11, 2026: The first group starts the migration process.
-
Migration Day 1 - Customer Preview: You will be provided a temporary URL to a WebReg 3.0 site. This site is connected to your data but is not live for your students. Your existing WebReg 2 site is still live and active.
- During the next two weeks, you will have the ability to setup your new site, including branding and layout, and perform tests of the site.
- Any issues you encounter during this period should be reported via the help center ticket system as you have done in the past.
- If there are issues that postpone the Go Live date, this stage of the process can be extended until the issue is resolved.
-
Migration Day 14 - Go Live: Approximately two-weeks after the Customer Preview stage, your site will go live.
- At that time, the temporary URL is changed to your permanent URL.
- Your WebReg 2 site is disabled.
-
Post-Go Live: Your site is operational at this point.
- Your students should be informed in advance of the scheduled system upgrade.
- Any issues you encounter should be reported via the help center ticket system as you have done in the past.
It is expected that all migrations will be completed before the end of November 2026. We understand that timing is important, especially for customers with active registration periods or internal planning needs. As the schedule is developed, Xenegrade will request customer timing preferences and will communicate directly with each organization before its migration is scheduled. Additional details about the migration process, customer review steps, and expected timeline are provided on the next page.
