Updates for the XenDirect WebReg Module (Release 3)

The modifications, additions, and fixes listed below this statement are live on Beta sites. Beta users can test these items and report any issues. Please submit a separate support ticket per issue. The modifications, additions, and fixes listed above this statement are live on production sites. At that time, updates to Beta sites will no longer be posted.

October 4, 2026

MODIFICATIONS / ADDITIONS

  • Search Results (all versions)
    • The Branch name no longer displays on search results and course summaries unless the site is designed to display more than one Branch.
  • GPA Display (Enterprise and Plus versions)
    • The calculation of the Program Enrollment GPA is now based on a default or custom calculation as set in R3 System Settings.
  • Images (all versions)
    • The size of images used in WebReg 3 are currently limited to 5mb.

FIXES

  • Settings / Logos (all versions)
    • Additional fixes have been made to logo displays to maintain consistency across the two locations the logo displays.
  • Client Profile (all versions)
    • The Client SSN now correctly encrypts the SSN value when it is the proper length.
    • The save process no longer updates or erases field values that could be but are not displayed in the Client Profile form..

MODIFICATIONS / ADDITIONS

  • MyAccount / Memberships (Enterprise and Plus versions)
    • The display of membership levels now displays the related fees.
  • Login (all versions)
    • The ability to login and test all the features of a logged in client is now active. Remember that any account used in the beta site can no longer be used to login into WebReg 2. The password format is different between the two versions.

FIXES

  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The setting that controls the display for adding other members is resolved. Users can now disable that display with the Branch web Options setting.
  • Searches (all versions)
    • The issue causing large databases searches to time out is resolved.
  • MyAccount / Dashboard (Enterprise and Plus versions)
    • The card displaying information about any current "In Process" Program Enrollments has been restored.

September 22, 2026

MODIFICATIONS / ADDITIONS

  • Fees and Payment Amounts (all versions)
    • All monetary values now display with two decimal places and a comma thousand separator. Negative values display the standard format of the minus sign before the dollar sign.
  • Groups (all versions)
    • The grouped areas of Categories, Departments, Products, Conferences, and Programs now display a "No courses available" message if there are no results to display.

FIXES

  • Footer (all versions)
    • The issue causing the footer to display empty has been resolved. 
    • The address portion of the footer now displays the address in block format versus on one line.
    • The column setting has been changed to count the columns minus the required logo/address area.
  • Custom Questions (all versions)
    • The issue causing keystroke entry to trim and prevent entry is resolved.
  • MyAccount
    • The Home/Dashboard area now displays the Program Enrollment GPA (Enterprise and Plus versions)

  • Images (all versions)
    • The various locations that display images no longer display an open space or a message of "no image available". In addition, when in grid view or groupings, if all cards in each row do not have an image, the entire row will hide the image area. 
  • MyAccount (all versions)
    • Invoices: The sort order has been modified to sort with most recent at the top.

FIXES

  • Course Counts (all versions)
    • The course counts in various areas have been corrected to display the same course count.
  • MyAccount
    • Products: The issue causing the product code to truncate is resolved. (Enterprise and Plus versions)
  • Programs (all versions)
    • The incorrect display of HTML code in the Program Title is resolved.
  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The incorrect display of HTML code in the Alternate Schedule is resolved.

FIXES

  • Images (all versions)
    • The "No image message" has been hidden when the Program, Category, or Product do not have a image.
  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The duration value now correctly display the same value on both Course Display and Cart.
    • The issue where some instructor names and bios display in other areas even if disabled is resolved.
  • Checkout (all versions)
    • The payment address fields now correctly cap the field lengths to match the database.
  • MyAccount (all versions)
    • The Client ID for Members now correctly uses the proper Client ID sequence.
    • The Add Members form correctly display the appropriate password and user name requirements.
  • Settings (all versions)
    • Pages: Deleting a Page now has a prompt to prevent accidental deletes.
  • Search (all versions)
    • When searching grouped search results, the issue causing only the first page to group and search correctly is resolved.

  • Mobile (all versions)
    • Several layout issues when navigating via a mobile phone or tablet are resolved.
  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The incorrect display of the Add to Cart button when the registration is restricted is resolved.
    • The Course Syllabus panel has been removed because the field does not exist.
  • Cart (all versions)
    • The Display Dates setting is now active for all Course Sections.
    • The Early Registration discount selection is now corrected based on discount order.
    • The discount calculation process has resolved the issues based on date, time, and time zone.
  • Checkout (all versions)
    • The incorrect invoice number sequence is resolved.
  • Search (all versions)
    • Category count calculations have been corrected.
  • Settings (all versions)
    • Navigation: Navigation icons now display, if enabled.
    • The Show Course Thumbnails option has been removed because thumbnails do not exist.
    • Pages: The titles, headers, and content blocks all now have character limits. The number of sections that can be added to a Page is also now restricted to 20.
  • MyAccount (all versions)
    • Account Profile: 
      • The issue preventing several account fields from recording is resolved.
      • The incorrect Client ID sequence is resolved.
    • Add Members button display setting now enforced. The Add Member process issues are resolved.

    • Registrations: Course location now displays even if disabled on Course Display page.
  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The Summary display now also includes the End Date field.
    • The "No image message" has been hidden when the Course does not have a image.
    • Course duration display has been changed from a calculated value to the exact number of weeks recorded with the Course Section.

FIXES

  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The display of Available Slots has been corrected based on display setting.
    • The issue causing the display of an old photo after the Course photo has been updated is resolved.
    • The issue causing dates to either not display or not display a field label is resolved.
    • The scenario where Available Slots has a zero value, the display is disabled.
    • Any incorrectly formatted dates display are resolved.
    • The missing label for the Location is resolved.
  • Settings (all versions)
    • Pages: Button animations (i.e. hover, highlighting) now all match.
  • Calendar (Enterprise version)
    • Conferences now display in a different color and correctly link to the proper page.

    • Filters: The ability to determine if the search list opens with or without data has been added.
    • Navigation: The second and third header menus are now center aligned.

    • The Course Code is now a clickable link to navigate to the Course Display page.

    • Filters: 
      • The Category, Session, and Program filters now correctly only display values based on those set as Display Online = Yes.
      • The issue preventing a user from disabling the Price Filter is resolved.
    • Pages:
      • The error when moving Sections within a Page is resolved.
    • Logo: The displayed value has been corrected to display the actual value being used.
  • Course Display (all versions)
    • The field display settings that were being ignored are resolved.
    • The Recently Viewed bread crumbs now displays the Course Title and not the Course Code.
    • Various Add to Cart restrictions tested and corrected including:
      • Preventing a duplicate Course Section.
      • Preventing the same course if restrictions are met.
    • Selecting "Someone Else" when adding to cart no longer redirects the client to the Members Account page.
  • MyAccount (all versions)
    • Registrations: 
      • The Change and Drop features no longer support a change/drop to a course section with no dates.
      • When navigating to the Course Display for an existing registration, the Add to Cart button  no longer displays.
  • Cart (all versions unless otherwise listed)
    • Discounts:
      • The issue preventing the discount calculation when a Workshop is added is resolved. (Enterprise version)
      • The Early Registration discount issue ignoring the Fee Group criteria is resolved.
      • The issue where the main invoice line item rate is being altered rather than the addition of a discount line item is resolved.
      • The order summary display on the Payment page now displays the discounts, variable fees, and Section ID per course.
    • Status: The scenarios where Course Full status display rather than Waiting List Available is resolved.
    • Conflicts: If a conflicted course is removed, the cart list now automatically refreshes.
    • Navigation: When a client adds an item to their cart and then logs in, they are now redirected to the cart page.
    • Issues preventing Variable Fees linked to Conferences form being added to Cart resolved.
    • Missing Section IDs added to cart display rows.
    • Issue preventing Bundle from adding to cart resolved.
    • Active Program Enrollment correctly enforced, if enabled.
    • Required Fees now correctly enforced when adding to cart.
  • Checkout (all versions)
    • Confirmation: 
      • The issue dropping the Client Email 2 value on an email confirmation is resolved.
      • The content of the email confirmation has been modified to better match WebReg 2.
      • Confirmation Email no longer drops random registrations when the cart order is large (i.e. 15 or more items).
    • Custom Questions: 
      • The issue preventing the enforcement of required questions is resolved.
      • The issue preventing Question Frequency not enforced when multiple courses are in the Cart is resolved.
    • Payments: The incorrect format (w/ alpha characters) for transactions numbers is resolved.
    • Checkout Review: The incorrect display issues of purchases is resolved.
    • Completion Page and Email Confirmation: The issue displaying an incorrect payment amount is resolved.

  • Cart (all versions)
    • The ability to enabled/disable Conflict Checking feature has been added. This setting is in Branch Web Options within the Admin module.
    • Cart recalculation now also occurs when a waitlisted course is added to the cart.
  • Navigation (all versions)
    • The [Home] menu link no longer displays if the site does not have an assigned home page.
  • Status (all versions)
    • The new "There are no registration slots available for this activity" has been removed. The list status values now matches WebReg 2 values.

FIXES

  • Cart (all versions)
    • The process checks when a course is being added to the cart now correctly checks the time zone setting in the Branch Profile.
  • Canvas (if enabled)
    • The timestamp on a successful send process is resolved.
  • Login (all versions)
    • The issue preventing the login display page is resolved.
  • MyAccount (all versions)
    • Member Accounts:
      • The issue preventing the Add New button is resolved.
      • The clickable email value in a Member record has been removed so that the email displays but is not actionable.
    • Memberships: The ability to view and manage Memberships has been added. (Enterprise and Plus versions)
    • Client Profile:
      • The inability to save Client Family information is resolved.
      • Several additional form field display settings that were being ignored are resolved.
      • The missing label for Email 2 is resolved.
      • The inability to save the profile due to an error on the Ethnicity field is resolved.
      • The issue rejecting all Grade field values is resolved.
      • The failure to save SSN values in the correct format is resolved.
    • Registrations:
      • The incorrect dates displayed in the Registrations list are resolved.
      • The missing Section ID value is resolved.
      • The Course Drop and Change options also now update the Course Section Handcount value.
    • New Account: The Consent option now longer displays HTML code in the instructions.
    • Client Programs: The missing start and end dates labels are resolved. (Enterprise version)
  • Navigation (all versions unless otherwise noted)
    • Products: The issue causing no products to show when the menu item is clicked is resolved. (Enterprise and Plus versions)
    • Conferences: The issue causing no conferences to show when the menu item is clicked is resolved. (Enterprise version)
  • Inquiry Forms (all versions)
    • The missing Captcha requirement on forms is resolved.
  • Page Views (all versions)
    • The missing Client's IP address in the Page Views log is resolved.
  • Calendar (all versions)
    • The issue causing all courses to display on Sunday is resolved.

August 19, 2026

MODIFICATIONS / ADDITIONS

  • Settings / Search Settings (all versions)
    • The Age Filter now has options to disable specific age bands.
    • The Learning Provider Filter now automatically determines the list options based on what Vendor is in the current list of offered and searchable courses.
  • Status Display (all versions)
    • The [Display Cart Text] feature was added to all locations where the status would display.

FIXES

  • Safari Browser (all versions)
    • The issues related to some button and field displays in the page layout are resolved.
  • Cart (all versions)
    • Several locations that monitor the cart timeout value have been modified to all be the same.
  • Client Profile (all versions)
    • Several of the form field display settings that were being ignored on the Client's Profile form are resolved.
    • The Client Profile form now allows duplicate emails.
  • Login (all versions)
    • An issue related to duplicate client emails is resolved.

MODIFICATIONS / ADDITIONS

  • Subcategory (all versions)
    • Subcategory has been added as an additional and optional search results display option. This uses the new Subcategory field added to the Course Categories select list.
  • Summary Display (all versions)
    • When a user clicks the Summary button of search results, the display will show all fees instead of a summary of the fees.
  • Client Password (all versions)
    • The password criteria was modified to match the settings set for Clients in the Admin module.
  • Settings / Logo (all versions)
    • The ability to select one of three size settings for the logo is added.

FIXES

  • Checkout (all versions)
    • The issue where the checkout process requested payment information on a cart with no balance is resolved.
  • Cart (all versions)
    • The issue preventing removal of items on the cart is resolved.
    • The issue causing an old cart contents to display is resolved.
