Field Details

  • Test Name: Name of the test. This field cannot be duplicated in more than one record. Required field.
  • Test Type: Category of the test, selected from a user-defined list. Required field.
  • Test Code: Optional field for maintaining reporting consistency. This field is useful when a test may be spelled differently across records but must be reported under the same identifier.
    • Example: Many NRS reports require specific test names and codes for accurate reporting.
  • NRS: Identifies if the test is used in NRS report calculations and analysis. (Feature retired in Release 3.)
  • Gain/Level Based On: Determines whether the Grade Equivalent or Total Score field in the Client Testing record is used for calculating gain and functioning levels.
  • Min Test Score / Max Test Score:
    • Prevents users from saving a Grade Equivalent or Total Score in the Client Testing record that is less than or greater than the specified range.
    • These fields are optional and may be set independently (Min only, Max only, or both).
  • Form and Level:
    • Restricts users from entering a Form or Level value not listed in the allowed values.
    • Optional field: It is acceptable to set only Form or Level without both.
    • If a value is entered, it must match one from the list.
    • Multiple values should be separated by commas (without spaces), e.g., 7,8,9,10 or O,L,OS.
  • Level(s): Defines the minimum range values for each of the current NRS Functioning Levels.
  • Subscores:
    • If a test has multiple subscores (e.g., the GED Exam), users can label each subscore for clarity.
    • Enter labels for Subscores 1-5 to be reflected in the Client Testing record when adding/editing test results.
    • If left blank, the default labels Subscore 1-5 will be used.
