Enabling and disabling the registration checkout process is controlled by users.

Access the following options at Admin/Security > Settings > Web Options.
- Enable Checkout: If not checked, the Web Registration shopping cart is not active, and no registrations can be accepted. The MyAccount button display is also disabled. However, customers can search and view courses. Check this option to activate the shopping cart. This allows an organization to display courses for customers to review but not allow a purchase or access to login into MyAccount.
There are two additional settings that should be set when enabling the checkout process.
- Enable Hand Count: If not checked, the Hand Count field in the exclusive Countbook feature does not update as registrations are added in WebReg. If checked, the Hand Count field in the exclusive Countbook feature does update as registrations are added based on the Quantity field value in the registration.
- Enable Auto Invoice: If using the Client Invoice feature, enabling the Auto Invoice process will cause an invoice to be created or modified every time a Client adds a registration or drops a registration. If not enabled, users must create and modify invoices manually and clients will not be able to pay at the time of registration. Existing invoices with a Credit or Debit memo are ignored using this auto function.
