Program Group Searches

In addition to the standard search fields, a Program Group search option is available.

Applies To:    Enterprise    Plus    Basic

Access the following display options at Main Menu > Selects > Program Groups.

• Display on Web:  Check 'Yes' to display a special Program Group Search section and a Program Group select list on the initial search page.  If all Program Groups are checked 'No' or all course sections within a Program Group are set not to display, the page is formatted for the regular search fields only.
• If the Branch Profile preference setting for [Allowing Duplicate Program Groups] is set to "Never", then the Program Group search will display the Program Group name only. Otherwise, the Program Group Name and Program Group Code will both be displayed.

If Program Search is enabled, there is an additional setting that determines if the search filters Courses by Program Group as linked to (a) Courses and Sections or (b) Course Sequences.

Access this setting at Admin/Security > Settings > Web Options.
