Setting the Display of Course Section Dates

The display of Course Section start and end dates can be enabled or disabled per course section.

• To display Course Section start and end dates, set the [Display Dates] value of a Course Section = Yes.  The field is located on the WebReg Registration panel of a Course Section. 
  • If set to No, Course Section dates will not display and the Status will display as 'Registration Available' unless the Course is Full and the Waiting List option is enabled.  
  • If set to Yes, Course Section start and end dates will display on all respective pages as well as act as the trigger for the Course Status.
• To display text instead of actual dates, use the [Start Date Text] and [End Date Text] fields. Text entered into these fields will replace the actual Start and End Date fields in the WebReg module when actual Start and End Dates are not entered.  Date Text values will display in the WebReg module only when actual Start and End Dates are blank.  These fields are available to provide a text option for the display of dates.
• Course Section Lab dates
  • To display lab dates, use the [Lab Dates/Times] field.  If text is entered into this field, it will display on the Course Detail page.
