Overview of WebReg Settings
The WebReg settings allow you to control how a course section is displayed and made available for registration in the WebReg module. These settings are critical for managing the course’s visibility, registration process, and additional options such as email links and purchase order handling.
Key WebReg Settings

WebReg URL
- Provides the URL string for the course section's display page in the WebReg module.
- This URL can be copied and used to direct students to the specific course section.

Display Online
- Yes: The course section will be visible in the WebReg module.
- No: The course section will not be displayed.

Display Online Date
- Operates with the Display Online field.
- If left blank and Display Online is Yes, the course will display regardless of the date, but other display options still apply.
- If a date is entered and Display Online is Yes, the course section will be displayed starting from the entered date.

Expire Online Date
- Enter a date to stop displaying the course section online.

No Cart Text
- When the Cart Button is disabled, but the course section is still displayed, this text will be shown as the Course Registration Status (e.g., "Call 555-123-4567" or "In-Person Only").

Display Fees
- Controls whether fees are shown in the Search Results and Course Display pages when the Display Cart Button is set to No.
- If Display Cart Button is Yes, fees will always display.

Allow Zero Pay
- Allows clients to register without making a payment if Yes is selected.
- Web Options for Enable Min Payment must be set to Yes and Allow Min Payment must be set to Approved or All.
Display Options

Display Dates
- Set to Yes to show the course section's start and end dates in the WebReg module.
- If set to No, the dates won’t display, and the status will show as "Registration Available" unless the course is full and the Waiting List option is enabled.

Display as New
- When checked, the word "NEW" will appear in red on the search results and course details pages.

Expire New Date
- If a date is entered, the NEW label will expire after the specified date.
- Otherwise, NEW will be displayed as long as the course section is visible.

Display as Update
- When checked, the word "UPDATE" will appear in red on the search results and course details pages.
- If Display as New is also checked, only NEW will display.

Expire Update Date
- If a date is entered, the UPDATE label will expire after the specified date.
- Otherwise, UPDATE will be displayed as long as the course section is visible.

Display Available Slots
- Enables or disables the display of available slots for the course section.
- To show slots only for specific sections, disable the Web Options [Display Slots] option and enable the Display Slots option for selected course sections.

Hide Location
- Hides the location for a specific course section in the WebReg module.
- If checked, the location will not appear on the Search Results or Course Display pages but will still be included in the email confirmation to registered users.

Allow Purchase Orders

Choose from the following options to manage purchase orders:
- Branch: Uses the branch setting for Purchase Orders.
- No: Disables Purchase Orders.
- All: Enables Purchase Orders for all clients.
- Billing: Enables Purchase Orders for clients with a credit level greater than zero.
- Corporate: Enables Purchase Orders for all corporate clients.

Choose from the following options to manage purchase orders:

Email Web Link
- Embeds a URL in the automatic email confirmation after a successful registration.
- This link can point to a PDF document or webpage on your website.

Email Link Text
- The text that will be displayed in the confirmation email when the Email Web Link is included. This text becomes the clickable link.

Inquiry Email
- When an email address is entered, an "Inquire" button will appear on the Course Detail page. This allows clients to send an inquiry email to the provided address.
- (Available in the Enterprise version only.)

Featured Course
- Any text entered here will mark the course as a Featured Course.
- If "display" is entered, the course is featured without additional text.
- Any other text entered will display the course as featured with the specified text.

Email Append Text
- Adds additional text to the email confirmation.
- (Available in Enterprise and Plus versions only.)
Course Information Fields

Audience
- Identifies the target audience for the course section.
- This will appear in the Course Detail display in the WebReg module.
- (Available in Enterprise and Plus versions only.)

Outline
- Provides a content outline for the course section.
- This appears as a link in the Course Detail display in WebReg.
- (Available in Enterprise and Plus versions only.)

Abstract
- Additional course details that will appear in the Course Detail display.
- (Available in Enterprise and Plus versions only.)

Alt Schedule
- Describes any schedule differences for the course section.
- This will be displayed in the WebReg module Course Details page and in the email confirmation.

Alt Refund Policy
- A different refund policy specific to this course section.
- This is displayed alongside the general refund policy in the WebReg module.

Alt Description
- An alternate or expanded description for the course section.
- This can replace the primary course description for this section.

Alternate Description Replace
- Replaces the primary description for the section if checked.
Additional Configuration Options

Alternate Waitlist Maximum
- Sets a specific waitlist maximum for the course section, overriding the Branch Profile setting.
- If set to 0, waitlists are disabled for this course section.

Alternate Registration Ends
- Specifies the number of days before or after the course start date that registration is allowed.
- Negative numbers indicate days before the start date; positive numbers indicate days after the start date.
