Global Website Settings

These settings control some of the basic visual display and social media features.

Applies to: Enterprise   Plus   Basic

Access these settings at Admin/Security > Settings > Web Options.

  • Web Registration Header:  Displays as the website page header title for the entire site.
  • Welcome Text:  Displays a short message above the menu, up to 50 characters.
  • Fonts:
    • Font Family: Select from the available font families.  Affects text for all pages.
    • Font Text Size: Select from the available font sizes.  Affects the primary text areas of all pages. Some text, such as headers and titles, is not controlled by this setting. User-define areas are controlled by this setting unless the HTML in the user-defined format overrides the default.
  • Show Scroll Bars:  Enable or disable the display of vertical scroll bars in tables/grids that are longer than a normal page height.  An example would be the optional Program Search feature on the search page.
  • Organization Pinterest Page URL:  Enter the full URL of the organization’s Pinterest page.  If entered, a Pinterest logo button will appear in the header of the WebReg module.
  • Organization Facebook Page URL:  Enter the full URL of the organization’s Facebook page.  If entered, a Facebook Like button will appear in the header of the WebReg module.
  • Enable Facebook Features:  The following three options for the Facebook social media features are available.  To enable, highlight one or more of the features desired. These features do not require the organization to have a Facebook page.   (Plus and Enterprise versions only)
    • Facebook Like:  If enabled, a Facebook Like button will display on all Course Detail pages in the upper right corner.  This button allows a client to Like that course section and display it on their Facebook page.  A count of the number of Likes will appear.
    • Facebook Send:  If enabled, a Facebook Send button will display on all Course Detail pages below the bottom of the detail section.  This button allows a client to send a link for the course section to one or more of their Facebook friends.
    • Facebook Comment:  If enabled, a Facebook Comments section will display on all Course Detail pages in the upper right corner.  This feature allows a client to view comments by other Facebook users as well as add their comments. To receive notifications when a comment is posted, you must set Moderator rules in your Facebook page for the Comments Plug-in.
  • WebReg Template: There are two template options.  Template 1 is the primary and most commonly used template.  Contact Xenegrade support if you are interested details about switching to Template 2.
  • Allow Cross Branch:  If the site was set up to allow one WebReg module to be used for multiple branches, this option determines if the Branch is one of those allowed to display in the WebReg module.  The ability to allow one WebReg module across multiple branches must be set by Xenegrade support staff.  (Enterprise version and WebReg Module template version 4.0 and higher only)
  • Branch Search Label:  If the Allow Cross Branch option is enabled, this field determines the label name for the Branch select list.  (Enterprise version and WebReg Module template version 4.0 and higher only)
  • Google Tracking Code:  The Google Analytics tracking code for tracking internet traffic to the WebReg module.  For more information, see http://www.google.com/analytics (Google Analytics is a trademark of Google)
  • Google Tag Manager:  The Google Tag Manager code is used for tracking internet traffic to the WebReg module using Google's Tag Manager.  For more information, read this page. (Google Tag Manager is a trademark of Google)
