Delete One Client

This function allows you to delete one client and all related records. Bulk deletion of multiple clients at once is not supported in Release 3.

Overview

Deleting a client removes all references to the client across all system tables. Once deleted:

  • The client cannot use the WebReg module or access transcripts.
  • There is no recovery option once the process begins.
  • Data in prior backups remains unchanged until the system's backup cycle (60 days) removes older backups.

How to Delete a Client

  1. Navigate toToolsClient FunctionsDelete One Client
  2. Enter the desired Client.
  3. Check the Confirm checkbox.
  4. Click Submit to start the delete process or Cancel to exit.

Key Notes

  • Deleted clients are permanently removed. Ensure you want to proceed before submitting.
  • The deletion process does not affect existing backup data until it cycles out in 60 days.
  • If a client has any linked records in subtables, these must be addressed before deletion is allowed.

Conclusion

Deleting a client is a permanent action that cannot be undone. Before proceeding, verify that the client record and all related data are no longer needed.
