WebReg 3.0 Migration Update

We're continuing to make progress on WebReg 3.0, and this week's updates include several improvements designed to make your migration easier to manage. From convenient access to your organization's migration status to additional training opportunities, here's what's new.

Your WebReg 3.0 Migration Status Page Is Now Available

On November 1, we deployed an Admin module update that provides convenient access to your organization's WebReg 3.0 Migration Status page.

You'll now find a new link labeled "WebReg 3.0 Status" in the Admin module user menu. This link takes you directly to your organization's status page, where you can:

  • Review the latest status of your WebReg 3.0 migration.

  • See your current migration schedule, including any date changes.

  • Review important instructions and information related to your upcoming migration.

Important: Scheduling revisions made during the past week are already reflected on these pages. We encourage you to check your status page regularly and bookmark it for easy reference.

The new link is visible to all Admin module users by default. If your organization prefers to hide it, navigate to System Settings, locate the setting titled "WebReg 3 Status", edit the record, and change the Enable field to No.

WebReg 3.0 Settings Access Now Controlled by User Permissions

We've also updated how users access the WebReg 3.0 Settings feature.

A link labeled "WebReg 3 Settings" is available in the Admin module user menu. However, access to the feature is now controlled by your organization's existing Permission Groups.

To grant a user access, the user's Permission Group must have Edit permission enabled for:

Admin Menu >> Settings >> WebReg 3 Settings

This gives organizations greater control over which staff members can access and modify their WebReg 3.0 configuration settings.

More WebReg 3.0 Webinars Are Now Available

Need help getting your WebReg 3.0 site ready? We've expanded our training schedule with additional opportunities to learn about the new features and configuration options.

Two additional webinar dates have been added for WebReg 3.0 Settings, and we've also introduced a new webinar dedicated to WebReg 3.0 Pages.

The Pages webinar will help introduce the tools available for creating and customizing additional pages within your registration site.

These webinars are a great opportunity to become more familiar with WebReg 3.0 and prepare for your upcoming migration.

We encourage organizations to take advantage of these training opportunities, particularly those preparing to begin their two-week Preview period.

Your Input Is Still Requested

Last month, we asked for your feedback on some important topics for 2027. Given the low response rate, we are asking for your input again before we make final decisions. This is especially true for those who have requested that we offer an in-person user conference. Without your input, we don’t have enough confirmed interest to begin planning a conference.

We have four specific topics where your feedback will help us evaluate demand, establish priorities, and make decisions about the near future.

Please take a few minutes to review the questions below and share your responses with us.

1. Digital Credentials and Badges

Does your organization currently use a digital credentialing service, such as Accredible, Credly, or another provider, to issue digital certificates or badges?

  • If yes, which credentialing service do you use?

  • If no, are digital credentials something your organization might be interested in offering?

Your responses will help us evaluate potential integrations with credentialing providers.

2. Multi-Factor Authentication for WebReg

We're considering adding multi-factor authentication (MFA) to WebReg to provide an additional layer of security for student accounts.

Authentication could be completed using a verification code sent by email or SMS text message.

  • If this feature were available, would your organization enable it and require students to use it when signing in?

  • Would you prefer email verification, SMS text verification, or both?

Your feedback will help us determine how important this additional security option is to our customers.

3. Automated Invoice Payments

We're developing an Automated Invoice Payments feature that could allow scheduled invoice payments to be processed automatically through supported payment gateways.

Availability would depend on the capabilities of your organization's payment gateway.

  • Would your organization be interested in using automated invoice payments?

  • Would you use this feature for installment payments, recurring payments, or both?

Your responses will help us prioritize payment gateway integrations and determine which payment options are most valuable.

4. A Xenegrade In-Person Conference in 2027

We're exploring the possibility of hosting a live, in-person Xenegrade customer conference in 2027.

The conference could provide opportunities for hands-on training, product demonstrations, discussions about upcoming features, and networking with other XenDirect users.

Before we move forward with planning, we'd like to know:

  • Would you consider attending an in-person conference in 2027?

  • Approximately how many people from your organization might attend?

  • Does your organization have restrictions on which states employees may travel to for conferences or professional development?

Your feedback will help us evaluate attendance interest and potential conference locations.

How to Share Your Feedback

Simply submit a support ticket with the subject "Roadmap Feedback 2027" and include your responses to any or all four topics.

You don't need to provide lengthy explanations. Brief answers are perfectly fine, and even a simple yes or no is valuable.

Your feedback matters! We want to focus our development efforts on features and services that deliver meaningful benefits to the organizations using XenDirect every day.

Thank you for helping us plan what's next!
