Restrict Course Popup List

Overview

The Course Popup list can be restricted to only display certain course sections and not display the entire list of course sections. 

• This Course Code list is cached in memory and updates every 15 minutes.  New Course Sections may not display until the list has been updated during the next cache.

Settings That Affect the Course Popup List
These settings affect which course sections display in the Course Popup list.

• Main Menu >> Selects >> Sessions: Set the Display in Course Popup to Yes to display or No to prevent display of all course sections for the respective Session.
• Admin Menu >> Settings >> Branch Profile >> Preferences tab:  set the Restrict Course Popup field to Yes to restrict the Course Popup for these values:
  • Display only courses where a Section Offered = Offered.
  • Course Section has available registration slots.
  • Course Section does not have Assignments tagged as Wait List.
