Drops and Changes

If enabled, allows a Client to either Drop or Change a registration from the MyAccount section of the WebReg module.

To Enable Client Drop Registration

  • Go to Admin Menu > Settings > Web Options.
  • Allow Drop Registration:  Check this option to enable it.  An option will display in MyAccount to allow the client to drop an existing registration if the following restrictions are met:
    • No attendance is entered for the Assignment (Enterprise only).
    • No payments exist for the Assignment.
    • No case notes exist for the Assignment.
    • No skills profiles exist for the Assignment (Enterprise only).
    • No progress reports exist for the Assignment (Enterprise only).
    • The Course Section has a Session identified.
    • The Course Section has a start date and the start date has not passed.
    • At least one of the three registration period dates for the matching Session is enforced and both a start date and end date are entered for the registration period.  The Drop option will only appear between and inclusive of these dates.

To Enable Client Change Registration

  • Go to Admin Menu > Settings > Web Options.
  • Allow Change Registration:  Check this option to enable it.  An option will display in MyAccount to allow the client to change an existing registration if the following restrictions are met:
    • There is another section of the same course available in the same Session.
    • The Course Section has available enrollment slots.
    • There are no clients on the waiting list for the Course Section.
    • The Course Section has a Session identified.
    • The Course Section has a start date and the start date has not passed
    • At least one of the three registration period dates for the matching Session is enforced and both a start date and end date are entered for the registration period.  The Change option will only appear between and inclusive of these dates.
