Special AWS News - June 30, 2023

Last Date InSight Pro Design Access is Set for July 7 at 5:00 PM ET

Update: The deadline has been extended to July 7 at 5:00 PM ET. The original date was July 6.

InSight Pro users have until 5:00 PM ET on Friday, July 7, 2023, to add local InSight reports or edit the design of any of their existing local reports. Once their XenDirect site has completed the transition process to AWS, their InSight Pro design access is available again.

There is a reason for this period of time when InSight report design is unavailable. Once we start the very first AWS transition, a complete copy of the InSight database must also be uploaded to AWS. Any changes made to the InSight copy that remains at the data center can no longer merge changes and additions with the AWS copy.

However, once a customer site has transitioned to AWS, we give immediate access to the AWS copy of InSight and design access is restored. The database is a complete clone of the InSight reporting at the time the database was copied. All existing global and local reports will be there.

Note: The InSight version on AWS is an upgrade from the version on the data center. Before the first customer transition to AWS, we will post the most important differences in this upgrade release.

Every time an update is made to the status site, all subscribers will receive an automated email related to the status update.
