Embedded Reports using Custom InSight Reports

The following embedded reports can be set to use a custom designed report instead of the default report designed by Xenegrade.

  • Client > Print Balance Due (coming soon)
  • Client > Print Invoice
  • Client > Print Receipt
  • Client > Print OnAccount (coming soon)
  • Client > Print Schedule (coming soon)
  • Client > Print Transcript (coming soon)
  • Client > Send Receipt (coming soon)
  • Client > Send Invoice (coming soon)

To Use a Custom Designed Report

Once Xenegrade support changes the settings, the new report will automatically print instead of the default report version.

  • Design the report to your specifications. Be sure to design the report to run efficiently as to not affect system performance. If the report takes too long to display, performance may be adversely affected. Note that Xenegrade is not responsible for the design of custom reports unless contracted to do so.
  • Be sure add to the filter noted for each report. This filter is required to be able to print the correct data.
  • Be sure to add the [Branch] data source to the report.
  • Submit a support ticket with the request to change the report settings. Include the following information:
    • Name of the embedded report to change.
    • Name of the local custom report.
    • Name of the Branch or Branches where the setting change should occur. In a multi-Branch site, each Branch setting is unique and could be vary per Branch.

Filter Requirements

Include these required filters in the report design.

The filter setting can be set to "hidden". We also suggest setting the filter not to "cascade". Any default values set in other filters will be active even for embedded reports.

  • Balance Due
  • OnAccount
  • Schedule
  • Transcript
    • Add the [Client.cliID] field as a filter.
  • Invoice
    • Add the [Clientinvoice.invID] field as a filter.
  • Receipt
    • Add the [Payment.genID] field as a filter.
