Countries

The Countries table is used in the Client Country field and the Country Field in Postal Code records. Maintaining accurate country names is essential for proper postal code functionality.

Important:

  • The country name for the United States should not be changed.
  • It must always be entered as "United States" exactly as written to ensure proper operation in all modules.

Field Details

  • Country Code

    • Use the two-letter abbreviation code (e.g., "US" for the United States).
    • Field cannot be duplicated in more than one record.
    • Required field.
  • Country Name

    • Full name of the country (e.g., "United States").
    • Field cannot be duplicated in more than one record.
    • Required field.
  • Order

    • Determines the display order in dropdown lists.
    • Can be set from 1 to 9 (default is 9 for all countries).
    • Ordering Example:
      • To display the United States first, set Order = 1 and leave all others at 9.
      • To display both the United States and Canada first, set United States = 1 and Canada = 2, leaving all others at 9.
