Add EPE Funding

The NYSED EPE/EA reports are no longer updated based on NYSED's requirement that reporting organizations use the ASISTS software to report EPE/EA.  The EPE/EA reports still remain available in XenDirect but are based on the last update made prior to the ASISTS requirement in 2005 and are provided for historical reference only.  Support for these reports is limited to assuring the reports will run "as is" without error.


This feature is not available in Release 3.


Overview

Adds a funding record for the NYS EPE funding category to all clients that meet the following criteria:

  • Does not currently have an EPE funding record.

  • Does not have a GED or US Diploma based on the Diploma Status field in Client Demographics.

  • Is 21 years or older based on the Birth Date field in Client Demographics and the Program Year End Date field in the Branch Unit settings.

And updates all existing Client Assignments to EPE = Yes if:

  • Course Schedule has an EPE Billing Formula > 0.

  • Client has an EPE funding record.

Details

  • A Funding Source record must exist spelled exactly "EPE" (no quotes, spaces, or periods).

  • Duplicates records will not be created during this process.

  • This process does not have an 'undo' element.  Once the process has started, it cannot be undone or stopped.


To Run the Add EPE Funding Function

  • Click on the Add EPE Funding menu option.

  • Type 'YES' in the text box.

  • Click OK to start the process or click CLOSE to quit and close the window.

  • Follow the screen prompts through the rest of the process.
