The URLs for the XenDirect Practice Sites are Moving

The XenDirect practice sites are also moving to AWS. To access these new sites, you will need the new URL. Your login may also have to reactivated once these sites are moved to AWS.

To request a new or reactivated login for the XenDirect practice sites, please submit a support ticket. In your request, be sure to note if you need the Enterprise, Plus, or Basic version.

Upcoming Change to SMS Text Will Require a Unique Twilio Account

This Fall, the SMS Text feature in XenDirect will be changing. This change will require customers to have their own Twilio account in order to send SMS text messages. This change is primarily being made to account for recent changes in law regarding spam and overuse of texting and the related management of the SMS text settings.

If you are a current SMS Text feature user, Xenegrade will contact you several weeks before this change takes place to help provide you with details and help you through the process.

This change also has some additional benefits:
  • You will no longer pay Xenegrade per message rates for sent messages. That will be handled through your Twilio account. Any existing balances for unused messages will be credited back to your Xenegrade account. For existing SMS text users, there are no additional fees. For new SMS text users, there is a one-time setup fee.
  • You have the ability to select the local number of your choice from the list provided by Twilio.
  • If desired, you also have the option to use short codes or 10DLC numbers. The cost varies and is handled through your new Twilio account. Current SMS text users have only had the 10DLC option up to this point.
By the end of August, you should hear from support staff on the details regarding your existing SMS text account.

TIP: Entering Decimal Issue is Browser Related

If you are experiencing an issue in Release 3 that prevents you from correctly entering a number with decimals in certain numeric fields, this is an issue related to the Mozilla Firefox browser and not XenDirect. It appears as though it may only be in release 113.X, but that remains unclear at this time.

Until Mozilla resolves the issue, you should either use a different browser or roll back your Mozilla Firefox version before the 113.X release.

  • Status Website: If you have not seen or subscribed to the Service Status website , it is more important than ever to consider doing so. One of the key features of the status site is your ability to subscribe to the automated email list. Every time an update is made to the status site, all subscribers will receive an automated email related to the status update.
  • Application Updates: Don't forget to check the Updates section of the Support Center. Whenever updates are made to any XenDirect services, a post describing the change, addition, or fix is made.
