The Move to AWS and Release 2 Phase Out Extended |
Testing of XenDirect R3, WebReg, and QuickTools on AWS is advancing nicely. At this pace, the first customer switch to AWS may happen in October. The process will be done in stages, moving a few at a time. As moves are scheduled, customers will be notified in advance with the details. The first move will be smaller organizations with fewer peripheral features such as integrations, stored files, and fewer users. It is expected that a move should be completed in less than a few hours and take place over weekends. With the move to AWS, we are delaying the early Fall customer transitions to Release 3 until October/November. This allows us the time to complete a proper transition process to AWS. In addition, the final phase-out of Release 2 has been moved up to the end of March 2023. |

Xenegrade Self-Guided Training is Making a Move |
Many users have taken online courses on the Xenegrade LMS over the past several years. But those online, self-guided lessons are moving. The move has already started, but over the next few months, all the lessons on the LMS will be moving to the Support Center knowledgebase. They will be separated into smaller segments and listed directly on the support pages most relevant to the lesson's topic. So why the change? The vendor that provides the software that manages the LMS has increased pricing to a level that is no longer feasible for Xenegrade to use the system. What if we still have a paid subscription to the LMS? All current paid subscriptions are already set to expire by the end of 2022. However, all existing user accounts will remain active until the move is complete, even after the paid subscription is expired. |

Debugging User-Built InSight Reports Requires Separate Support Agreement |
Standard technical support covers many things, but one of the areas not covered is the debugging of user-built InSight reports. We try to provide some guidance, but the ability to provide debugging requires additional support coverage. What are your options? The first option is to purchase a block of hours for use by our staff to use as needed when support is requested. The second option is to purchase support for a specific report or project. In both these cases, the support may be with someone other than those you often communicate with within the ticket support system. As needed, the program engineers step in and assist with these kinds of support, often above and beyond the normal support requirements. And if needed, this same process could be used to have Xenegrade build custom reports for you. |

2023 Webinar Series Needs Your Input |
Starting January 2023, we will be offering several webinars each month on topics directly related to XenDirect. We need your input to help make these webinars the most relevant and successful. Please send us your top five topic interests via a support ticket. Be sure to mention the 2023 Webinar Series in your ticket post so that support will forward the information to the webinar planners. These webinars will be 30-45 minutes long and targeted to specific topics. With this format, participants will find it easier to attend. Watch our news posts in December for the schedule and registration process for the January 2023 offerings. |
